Jennifer Shick |Arizona Divorce and Family Law Attorney
Jennifer W. Shick attended law school at the University of Pittsburgh School of Law. She graduated with her law degree in May of 1999. She applied to the State Bar of Arizona the same year and was admitted to practice law in Arizona in 1999. Jennifer has also been admitted to practice law before the United States District Court for the District of Arizona. Jennifer has focused her legal career on only divorce and family law cases since being admitted to practice law in Arizona over eighteen years ago.
Jennifer is a member of the Family Law Section of the Arizona Bar Association. She is also a member of the Maricopa County Bar Association, the West Valley Bar Association, and the Arizona Association of Family Law Attorneys.
Jennifer has provided free or discounted legal services through the Arizona Bar Association’s Volunteer Lawyer’s Program (“VLP”), offering legal services to low-income parents through the Family Law Assistance Project. Jennifer also volunteers her to time to the Children’s Law Center in her role as a “Best Interest Attorney” or as a “Court-Appointed Advisor” to the court protecting minor children in cases where allegations of abuse or neglect of the children have been alleged.
Jennifer received the Children’s Law Center Guardian Ad Litem of the Year Award in 2005 in recognition of her work in protecting children. She has also received the Volunteer Lawyer’s Program “Volunteer of the Month” award in 2011.
